Company History
Created in 1989 by researchers from INRIA Sophia, the company relies on secure data transmission technology (Oriade) that is always efficient. Large accounts, such as the National Health Insurance Fund, use the Oriade software platform. The latter collects and centralizes its financial data, approximately 70,000 files per day, using the Oriade software package.
In January 2017, IRATEN Solutions was acquired by Patrice Flori, who then renewed the team. First projects for the new team based in Nice, recovering old customers and applying for calls for tenders in all directions. Iraten has thus attracted the favor of ARAFER, the regulatory authority for railway activities, proof that the Oriade software package remains competitive. It includes in particular a data anonymization function, useful with the imminent entry into force of the GDPR.
But Patrice Flori wanted to go further and has been working for a year on dusting off Oriade. “A new cloud version will be released in June, with more extraction and standardization features,” he says. No more off-the-shelf software, make way for a SAAS portal where customers will find à la carte services.
Among the new features, a data analysis offer based “on the confrontation between public data and customer data” thanks to artificial intelligence, and a digital safe developed in partnership with ISAE Toulouse. Despite the change in governance, Iraten has not lost its working habits with research labs. The company is also very interested in blockchain to innovate in financial transfer services and in the standardization of data in the e-commerce sector.
